Q. Who are the tutors?

We have both professional and peer tutors on our staff.

• Professional tutors hold a bachelor's degree or higher in the field they tutor. Many of our professional tutors are current or past faculty members.
• Peer tutors received a B or higher in the class they tutor and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. All peer tutors are current or past students. Many of our peer tutors begin tutoring as HACC students and continue to tutor at HACC even after they have transferred to other institutions.
