Here are ways to narrow a search in library databases, both on your search screen and after you have a results list.
- Full-text articles only
- Date (it is important for many topics to use recent articles)
- Source type (journals, newspaper, or magazines)
- Geography (United States, India, etc.)
- Add another term or two in the additional search boxes. For example, if you were searching for "bipolar disorder," try adding additional terms like: treatment; teenagers; etc.
