A library database is an online catalog or index that contains information about published works, such as newspaper articles, journal articles; and book chapters. Library databases can be searched by keyword; subject; author; title; and more.

Library databases are not considered to be the "internet" or "the web."

To find HACC library databases, use either the Databases A to Z link, or the Databases by Subject link, on the library homepage.
