In order to cite something you will need to know two things: what type of resource you are trying to cite (magazine article, website, book, etc.) and what citation style your instructor would like you to use. Once you've identified these two pieces of information, you can find out how to cite it using our Citing Sources Guide. It offers additional information about the citation process, as well as information about APA, CSE, and MLA citation styles. Another great resources is Purdue University's Online Writing Lab (OWL)
