Items can be requested from other campuses only by HACC students and employees. If an item is located at a different campus or checked out to someone, you can place a "hold" on that item. If it is at another campus, we will mail it to the campus you choose as soon as possible. If the item is currently checked out, we will send it to the campus you requested as soon as it is available.
You may place items on hold yourself using the “Request It” button under the title in the full record in the catalog.
- Enter your HACC user name and password
- Select the library where you will pick up the item
- Click on “Place Hold”
- On the verification screen, click “OK”
You can check My Library Account to verify your holds.You will be notified once the item has arrived at your campus. Notifications will be made over the phone or through Hawkmail if we are unable to reach you. Material is held for pick up in the libraries for seven working days.
